Overview:Deployment of F-Secure was one of the most straight-forward out of all the products we reviewed. Its reporting/event notification offers administrators a powerful tool to keep on top of problems.

REVIEW:Installation: 9 out of 10 Installation of F-Secure can be managed by the F-Secure Policy Manager. This allows you to easily distribute installations to your networked machines quickly and painlessly. Administration/Updating: 9 out of 10 F-Secure Policy Manager is the heart of F-Secure in the enterprise. It allows for comprehensive reporting and provides a very intuitive user interface which makes overview of important events simple. It offers a scalable way to manage the security of numerous applications on multiple operating systems all from one central location. It is also used to ensure that F-Secure is kept up-to-date and manages configurations. Integration: 8 out of 10 The F-Secure Management server acts as the central configuration component allowing you to change setting on all or selected workstations so you can ensure all your systems are operating the way you want them to. Effectiveness: 8 out of 10 F-Secure consistently passes the most respected tests having achieved the Checkmark tests performed by West Coast Labs at both Level 1 & 2 a number of times. They also hold numerous VB100% awards from Virus Bulletin. However, they did not enter/receive the 2006 ICSA award. Ease of Use: 9 out of 10 The enterprise edition of F-Secure offers administrators full centralized control of all aspects of F-Secure protected workstations. A centrally administered FSecure workstation user could be forgiven for not even knowing F-Secure is present on their machine such is the control given to the administrator via in the management console. Support: 8 out of 10 You can contact F-Secure through phone or email. There is a support center on their website where you can access tutorials, FAQs and other helpful documentation. Value for Money: 8 out of 10 F-Secure is in the mid-range in terms of price but offers the top-notch protection expected from the higher priced competitors. This comes as part of a suite, so is good value and one that certainly shouldn’t be overlooked.
