REVIEW:Installation: 8 out of 10 The ePolicy Orchestrator is McAfee`s very powerful management system which initially helps with the deployment of McAfee’s products. Once you have remotely installed the ePolicy Orchestrator Common Management Agent onto your network you are ready to install any of McAfee's other security packages. Administration/Updating: 9 out of 10 Administration is another task of the ePolicy Orchestrator which makes light work of configuring your workstations. With a multitude of configuration options you can configure any aspect of the way McAfee Antivirus runs on your systems. Integration: 8 out of 10 Due to the reporting efforts of the ePolicy Orchestrator it is easy for an administrator to keep check on systems and make changes when necessary which takes the burden away from the user. Effectiveness: 8 out of 10 McAfee VirusScan boasts one of the best virus detection records. The software received the VB100% award for 2005, the ICSA award for 2005 and passed both level 1& 2 Checkmarks from West Coast Labs. Ease of Use: 7 out of 10 In an enterprise environment use of the Antivirus Software should be as transparent as possible. McAfee’s VirusScan covers in detail a whole host of access protection not found in many packages. This can be a little confusing though.
