REVIEW:Desktop Authority is a very comprehensive package that covers far more than endpoint security. While this is obviously not a bad thing if you are only interesting in securing data you will probably find this product too involved, having said that it is priced competitively and you may find many of the extra features very useful. Installation was relatively pain free although Desktop Authority requires two to run, one of which must be a member of the Domain Administrators group. As these accounts are required for DA to work, you will need to set the passwords to Never Expire or else it will simply stop running. Once running Desktop Authority allows you to easily deploy your endpoint security. Although it does not use the Management Console like many of the other packages in this review it still has a familiar look and shouldn?t be to hard to navigate.
