Dennis Thomas,
Managing Director, NDR

Dennis has enjoyed over 30 years of IT and business experience.  He has a notable record in implementing business development and change programmes throughout the world, with both commercial groups and government agencies.  The past fifteen years have seen him focus on business continuity and disaster recovery.

Graduating as a physicist, he engaged in technology and services development, achieving senior management or director positions with British Steel Corporation (became Corus Group), European Electronic Systems (became part of Kvaerner Group), Digital Equipment Corporation (now Hewlett-Packard), Comdisco (now SunGard) and Synstar (now Hewlett-Packard).

During this time he led Comdisco to its first ‘BC Service Provider of the Year’ award in 1999, Synstar to ‘BC Service Provider of the Year’ award in 2004, and was himself voted ‘BC Personality of the Year’ in 2005.

Dennis is now Managing Director of NDR, part of Phoenix IT Group plc
